Colorado Avalanche has been borrowed forward Gabriel Landeskog Go to the AHL’s Colorado Hawks for conditioning missions.
Landeskog, 32, has not competed since June 26, 2022, when he was captain of the Stanley Cup champion. He missed nearly three seasons after several knee surgeries, including a cartilage transplant in 2023.
Landeskog was the second pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, collecting 248 goals and 323 assists in 738 professional NHL games, scoring 571 points. He won the Calder Memorial trophy in the 2011-12 NHL Outstanding Rookie and won the Olympic silver medal in Sweden in 2014 Sochi season.
