Leeds now takes a formal approach to signing £38m La Liga defender

Leeds United has now reportedly turned its focus to a second defensive addition in the form of a £38m La Liga Ace, with Jaka Bijol officially signed and delivered.

Jaka Bijol completes Leeds move

It took some time, but Bjoll was finally a Leeds player. The defender has arrived from Udinese, reported £15m and is the second signing for the white man in the summer after Lukas Nmecha.

After promoting the pen and paper, Björ told Leeds’ official media channels: “It’s been a big day for my family for me and I’m so happy to be here. Maybe it’s my biggest career so far, but I’m ready.

“I’m working on it, that’s why I’m here because it’s a huge challenge for everyone. It’s a huge challenge for me, for the club and we’re preparing for it. I think the club and myself are ready for the Premier League.

“I can guarantee that I will give everything and I will also do all the training in every training session to prepare for the first game of the season and start from there.”

Bjor may be the second time Leeds summer, but he doesn’t look like he’s the last one. The 49ers will re-support Yorkshire Club as they prepare for their return to the Premier League, threatening to steal headlines under the name of Oscar Gloukh. The talented attacker will immediately become the viewer in England’s top flight, no doubt.

However, the Red Bull Salzburg man is not the only one in Leeds Radar. Now, the report even hints that they have welcomed the central defender in Bjor’s form and turned their attention to another defense.

Leeds takes a formal approach to signing Natan

According to the passing of sports witnesses, Estadio Deportivo said Leeds has now taken a formal approach to signing Real Betis’ Natan de Souza. The Central defender just made his loan relocation permanently in Spain, but he may have moved again due to the interest of people in Elland Road and Lazio.

Leeds did not give up on signing the striker this summer.

Betis has rejected a club worth up to 27 million euros (£23 million) to sell its defender, and has estimated Natan this summer for 45 million euros (£38 million) this summer. Whether Leeds will be willing to reach this number will be the biggest issue they are pursuing.

Align with Bijol in many areas, and while failing to surpass the new Leeds star, Natan can still create an impressive partnership with former Udinese Man on Elland Road.

The 24-year-old won’t be cheap, but if Leeds first asks in the Premier League, the 49ers have to be prepared to spend a lot of money.
