Leicester is watching the boss 4-2-3-1, who is also wanted by Southampton

According to Sky Sports, Leicester City wants an “incredible” 4-2-3-1 manager, who is also wanted to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy by Southampton.

Leicester’s downgrade fills the pressure on Van Nistrui

The Foxes were confirmed on Sunday afternoon to relegate from the Premier League, a disastrous season for the club. After 33 games, their name only had 18 points, winning only 4 games in total.

The club’s head hopes Van Nistelrooy’s arrival will escape the club to get out of the drop zone, but only three wins in 17 games are not enough to keep them in the Premier League.

This means the Fox must now prepare for his life in the championship game, and according to Sky Sports, Van Nistelrooy is expected to meet with Leicester’s hierarchy this week to discuss his future.

The Dutch is expected to be responsible for the rest of the Premier League campaign, but there are questions about whether he will continue to move into the summer, as both sides are unsure of the continued championship relationship.

Another issue with Leicester is that firing Van Nistelrooy by the end of June will give them the PSR obligations as the Dutch has been contracting until 2027, so he needs to pay him off.

So while the club chief weighs the relationship with Van Nistelrooy, according to Sky Sports’ Rob Dorsett, Rob Dorsett is now interested in appointing Danny Rohl after signing the management shortlist.

Dorsett reported that the fox had formulated a series of candidates to replace Van Nistelrooy, a name being considered. Rohl and Rohl are also interested in former England interim manager Lee Carsley and former Hampton boss Russell Martin.

Rohl, called “incredible” by player Josh Windass, is a manager who continues to impress in his championship game against Sheffield on Wednesday as the club’s finances and ownership make his job difficult. Sheffield Wednesday was Rohl’s first job as manager in England, but he coached the club away from relegation last season and his achievements in this campaign now make him a second-tier senior coach.
