Liam Delap leads PFA Player of the Year Award nomination

New Chelsea forward Liam Delap is one of six nominees for the PFA Player of the Year Award.

Chelsea paid a £20million (plus add-ons) to sign him from Ipswich, who moved to Stamford Bridge earlier this month.

The 22-year-old scored 12 goals in 37 games last season for the Tractor Boys but couldn’t stop them from returning to the championship immediately.

Real Madrid defender huijsen is shortlisted

Another player who is no longer in the same club is Dean Huijsen.

The center impressed Bournemouth and then switched to Real Madrid for £50m. Huijsen made his debut in Madrid yesterday with Al-Hilal in the 1-1 draw at the club World Cup in the United States.

After Cherries’s outstanding left-back performance, Shayson’s former Bournemouth teammate Milos Kerkez was included.

It is believed that the Hungarian international can almost move to Liverpool.

Including Arsenal duo

Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers and Arsenal duo Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri ranked first.

Rogers performed well at Villa Park as the men of Unai Emery reached the Champions League quarter-finals. He also became the club and the country’s top left-back after his appearance at the Amirates.

Nwaneri is perhaps surprisingly inclusive. The 18-year-old opened 11 times in the Premier League for the Gunners as Mikel Arteta’s man was injured in the main player in the forward and wide area.

The winner will be announced at the PFA Awards Gala on August 19.
