The winner of the Texas Children’s Houston Open returns home for $1.7 million.

Min Woo Lee had a chance to win the player championship a few weeks ago but collapsed in a sloppy third round, which failed him.
The 26-year-old Australian won three DP World Tours, competing several times on the PGA Tour, but has yet to reach a deal. Lee sees his TPC Sawgrass pop-up rate as a big moment in his evolution as a pro and enjoys the experience Saturday at the Texas Children’s Houston Open when he crosses Scottie Scheffler and goes to the lead in Memorial Park.
“I did a great job today, no [get ahead of myself]Lee Zhoushu said. “It’s a really good learning curve, just the last player a few weeks ago, I don’t know, it feels like I’m not myself. Yes, I just had to – you know, I want to be in this situation more and more, so I have to look at it myself and then really keep my head and try and hit the ball at a time. It’s a long day, so you can’t be ahead of yourself, you just have to hit the ball once and keep trusting your game.”
Lee entered on Sunday with a four-shot lead at Alejandro Tosti and led five shots at Scheffler, but it was easy to finish on the PGA Tour regardless of the cushion.
Lee struggled with the shaky driver at Memorial Park on Sunday but was able to stop the hard-working Scheffler and Gary Woodland, winning his first career PGA Tour title.
