The £40 million Delap represents a much cheaper option than options like Isak and a player, and he continues his personal rise despite Ipswich’s Premier League struggles.

Those at Anfield will hope their status as champions will be enough to attract Delap to move towards Chelsea and others this summer, which will give them much-needed offensive progress. If Ipswich is relegated this season, any trade could become more feasible, which looks like this may be the case.

“Confidence” Delap will be upgraded immediately

Although Nunez, Jota and Diaz have been struggling to benefit from the best creators of Salah, Delap sometimes delays Ipswich’s offense, although often without such a reward. Swapping roles with the aforementioned Liverpool star, the former city man will most likely not have the chance to waste phases like Wembley and shoot a shot on silverware.
