The third and final meeting of the season between the Pittsburgh Penguins (30-34-11) and the Ottawa Senator (39-28-6) has provided a lot of entertainment for fans. As Sidney Crosby reached his 20th career 20th game, the Penguins beat three games in the overtime title in the power game.

Tristan Jarry has a much-needed rebound game. He was a sensational, making 31 saves for the first closure of the season. Despite the loss, Ant Forsberg also performed well, having scored 34 saves in his fourth game since February 6.

Game review

The first period is the story of both sides of the penguin. They flew around to play because they had four of the first five goals online. The senator found his foothold and took over the period. They took the shots over the next 17 minutes, leading 15-6 in that span. It was the goalkeeper’s story that was the opening frame, with Jarry and Forsberg performing great performances to keep the game scoreless after 20 minutes.

Just like the first stage, the second stage is a story of a defensive and goalkeeper. The second shot was low – the Senators beat the Penguins 11-9 in total – neither team could find the first goal of the game.

In the third phase, I saw that Penguins had multiple opportunities to open up their scores. Fosberg didn’t let it happen, bringing out some key savings to keep the game unscored. Less than two minutes away, Shane Pinto placed the match on his stick during the match-off match. He beat Jarry, but the position became huge when the puck was away from the net. After 60 minutes of hard hockey, both teams scored one point in the standings and the game will be overtime.

After 61:44 no-point hockey, Crosby called it a game with powerful goals. Erik Karlsson’s pass is in Crosby’s cab, allowing him to go home with a training device.

The Senator welcomed Buffalo Sabers to the Canadian Tire Center on Tuesday night (April 1) to return to his fourth game at home. The Penguins will have three days off before starting three games on Thursday night (April 3) at St. Louis Blues.
