Liverpool’s name former Rangers boss is Arne Slott’s new assistant

Former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has joined Liverpool as an assistant to Arne Slot.

Van Bronckhorst will dig out at Anfield after the former Everton defender was appointed Ajax boss.

Xavi Valero also returned to Liverpool from West Ham to become a goalkeeper after Fabian Otte and Claudio Taffarel left.

Valero is a regular part of the staff behind Rafa Benitez and followed the Spaniard to Merseyside in 2007 before working under his leadership in Inter, Chelsea, Naples and Real Madrid.

He joined West Ham in 2018 but will now lead the goalkeeper of the Premier League champions.

Experienced Van Bronckhorst works with slot machines

Van Bronckhorst is another experienced campaigner who can advise slot machines.

The former Barcelona midfielder won 106 blocks in the Netherlands before embarking on a management career that led him to take over as Feyenoord in 2015.

After a brief spell from Guangzhou R&F, he returned to Europe and was appointed Rangers Boss to succeed Steven Gerrard.

He led the Glasgow Giants to the Scottish Cup, and even more impressively the Europa League final in 2022, where they lost to Eintracht Frankfurt by fine.

He was fired during the 2022 World Cup break and left the game until he was appointed by Besiktas in June 2024. He lasted five months in Istanbul before being fired after defeating McCabet Aviv in the Europa League.
