Manchester United chases “one of Europe’s best attackers”

Manchester United have begun finding shooting boots in recent weeks. At times this season, for the Red Devils, the goal was a problem with former manager Erik Ten Hag and his backup Ruben Amorim.

However, in the last two matches, the 13-time Premier League champion has more joy before scoring the goal. United have found seven net rebounds in their last two outings, beating Real Sociedad 4-1 with Leicester City 3-0.

Things have started to bring to Manchester United on the goal line over the past few weeks. It seems they want to continue this hot streak in front of goals and connect with the new striker in front of the summer transfer window.

Manchester United’s forward goal is summer.

According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, the Red Devils didn’t lack options for the summer transfer market when signing with Benjamin Sesko and Victor Osimhen.

Giant money deals, controversial moves and big-name slippers. This is the hometown of football fans’ transfer news and opinions.

The reporter’s name checked the two forwards as the player’s red devil was “closely monitored”. However, they also target Eintracht Frankfurt’s French U21 International Hugo Ekitike.

Plettenberg noted that Amorim’s team “want to strengthen their offense in the summer” and that Ekitike, 22, has one in the name.

Hugo-Ekitike-Frankfurt

In early March, French media L’Equpie’s report valued the striker’s £67m, linking Manchester United rival Liverpool to him.

Whether this valuation will continue until Manchester United remains to be seen, but it may be difficult to meet if they don’t enter Europe next season, reducing available funds.

Comparison between Ekitike and Rasmus Hojlund

It’s an excellent season for French striker Ekitike. He is an all-around forward who can score and create.

The young forward has 19 goals and eight assists in 38 games in all games and was described as “one of Europe’s most form of attackers” at the start of the season, by football talent scout Jacek Kulig.

Ekitike’s ability to connect with players around him may see him explode in Amoir’s 3-4-2-1 system. He will play alongside two No. 10 matches, wielding the new role of defender and Bruno Fernandes. He certainly won’t be short of players to serve or contact.

If the Red Devils get this deal on this line, Ekitike might replace Rasmus Hojlund. Dane’s performance was disappointing, with only eight goals and two assists this season, in 39 games in the game.

Hojlund-2

However, he did manage to make the scoring table in his final game against Leicester. It was also a candid strike.

Fernandes clamped the ball to the top, Hojlund held the ball in control and shot his shot into the goalkeeper’s bottom left corner.

Well, Hoylund’s form is of course a focus for Manchester United, and there are reports that if Old Trafford decides to cash in on him, Naples can sign him this summer. They think they want £50 million to the striker.

If Manchester United decides to sign Ekitike as a replacement for Hojlund, then FBREF statistics this season suggest this will be an upgrade. For example, the French averaged 0.62 goals and 3.78 shot moves per game, while Hojlund had 0.29 goals and 1.9 shot moves per game.

As the numbers and basic statistics for the shot score suggest, the sensational Frankfurt Star will be a massive upgrade for Manchester United. The Frenchman has been in a great form this season and cannot stop scoring, which is exactly what Manchester United need to enhance their offensive capabilities.

Even if the fee of around £67m is a expensive fee, it might be an ideal investment for the Red Devils to take their goal rate to the next level.
