Nottingham Forest is now keen to sign a £26m midfielder who is increasingly likely to leave the club this summer, a report said.
Forest’s summer transfer plan
Even the most optimistic Forest fans would not predict their performance this season, even though they suffered Champions League qualification in a 2-1 loss against Aston Villa over the weekend.
It was an afternoon at Villa Park that forgot that in the Premier League, the tricky trees had three straight wins in the Premier League, but they were still third, keeping four points above recent rival Chelsea.
But if the tricky trees manage to qualify for the elite competition in Europe, they may have to improve their roster depth this summer, and Nuno has set his sights on targets in a variety of different positions.
The introduction of new forwards is especially important, while Jean Philippe-Mateta of Crystal Palace and Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP can all be played in the target, while Marseille Winger Luis Enrique can sign up for the competition to provide Anthony Elanga with the left-wing Anthony Elanga.

They can trigger his release clause.
Not only that, Nuno can also strengthen his choice in the middle of the park, an Italian report shows Nottingham Forest is now very keen to sign AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah (via sports witness).
Musah may withdraw from San Siro this summer at a cost of €30m (£26m) and has had some disappointing performances this season, recently replaced in the first half with a major mistake against Fiorentina.
The 22-year-old was booed by Milan fans, which could lead to other places this summer, with many Premier League clubs queuing for his autograph, and Totterham Hotspur and Newcastle United also expressed interest.
“Incredible” Moussa needs to move this summer
Given their alternative reaction to him over the weekend, the midfielder’s relationship with Milan fans appears to be at a breakout point and he may need to continue to move forward for his career.
It’s undoubtedly a disappointing performance for the Americans, but he’s still young, only 22 years old, and there are plenty of signs that he can provide a lot of forest in the Premier League.
Reporter Kyle Bonn praised Milan ace earlier this season as “incredible” and has been excellent in some key metrics over the past year, impressing his tram compared to his position peers.

If Musah decides he needs to move this summer, he may be cheap at just £25m, and if they manage to achieve their Champions League qualifying goal, the Forest may win his signature match.
