Stephen A. Smith admits he was wrong with Jimmy Butler
Stephen A. Smith spoke in the NBA today, withdrawing his views on the Golden State Warriors. Smith initially praised Draymond Green’s championship comments but questioned their ability to get there.
Smith still thinks the Warriors aren’t the strongest team, but Jimmy Butler impressed him with his ability to rest. So he thinks the duo makes the Warriors a dangerous team.
“I think I’m wrong…I look at Jimmy Butler. We know he’s a big player, especially in the playoffs. But did he and Stephen Grid? I can’t see it. I still think they are Very small.”
“When I think of Steph Curry, one of the things that I am amazed at outside of his marksmanship is his condition. He runs around all the damn time. When you have one that can be like Jimmy ·Jimmy Butler arrives at the free throw line as frequently as Jimmy Butler…”
“What happened then was; you were giving him [Curry] He didn’t have to leave the court and sat on the bench during rest. ”
“For me, this makes the Golden State very powerful. When I look at the West, I don’t win without them, but I can’t immediately ignore what I see and what it’s like.”

Smith has made some important points about the danger Butler has brought to the team. His ability to give Stephen Curry a probation not only made him a threat, but also improved Curry’s game.

Butler Looking for Champion
Jimmy Butler won the NBA title on two separate occasions. The first was in 2020, when he led the Miami Heat against the Los Angeles Lakers NBA Finals.
The second was two years ago, when the Miami Heat completed one of the most unlikely playoffs to reach the NBA Finals. However, Nikola Jokic and Denver Nuggets did not give them a happy ending.
Butler’s eyes focused on the NBA championship. He has the perfect teammates of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green who have won multiple titles together.
Now, with the right teammates, Butler can play comfortably, knowing he has two Hall of Fame level players operating at the peak of his abilities.
