“I’m also excited to be learning and learning with Pep (Guardiola) and his coaching team and training and playing with such world-class players.
“I’m young and I’m here to improve a lot. I definitely need to learn and improve football – that’s why I chose this huge challenge.
“I know I can improve football and being in this state with this team and this manager will definitely improve my football.”
Ait-nouri spent five years with Wolf, initially borrowed from Eggs and then signed permanently in 2021 for £14.9 million.
He was the city’s first left-back expert since Benjamin Mendy, who played his last game for the club about four years ago.
Oleksandr Zinchenko, Joao Cancelo, Nathan Ake, Josko Gvardiol and – Recently – Nico O’Reilly has been the player to fill the post since.
