Luka Modric believes Real Madrid teammate Kylian Mbappe has the potential to win multiple ballon d’Or titles at Los Blancos.
Mbappe joined Real Madrid after leaving Paris Saint-Germain for a free transfer last summer, the most vulnerable signing in the transfer window.
Despite some initial struggles, he has found his form and is now doing well for the Spanish giants.
The 25-year-old has scored 31 goals in all matches in Madrid, with impressive goals scoring in his last nine laliga outings.
Mbappe is currently performing international duties at the France National Team as they hope to overturn a 2-0 deficit in its National League quarter-finals against Modric.
Two club teammates will play directly in tonight’s decisive second leg and gain a spot in the final.
luka Modrić: “Mbappé makes things easy, maybe I’ve never seen it before! What surprised me was that he was his man”.
“He is an incredible guy, very modest, always joking with us, very calm.”

Before the game, Modric expressed his admiration for Mbappe and predicted that he would soon be recognized as the best player in the world.
“There is no choice when it comes to Kylian as a football player – he is one of the best players in the world,” Modric told the station.
“He has a lot of abilities, and honestly, it’s something I rarely see. But what impressed me the most was his personality. He was an incredible boy, very modest, ready to joke around and help his teammates. He was calm.
“Kylian, from the outside, you can say it wasn’t his best season, but he still had over 30 goals. Imagine if he improved his level!
“Kylian is an incredible talent and what I see is one of the best, but as I said, the biggest impression I have made is his personality because he is truly an incredible boy.
“If Kylian continues to do something like this, please help Real Madrid like he does, and I believe he will be one of his favorites, not winning a few goals.”
