Manitoba Moose Goes Forward Chaz Lucius Retirement has been announced.

Lucius, 21, has played 54 games with the Moose in the past three seasons. In 2024-25, he has 3 goals and 6 assists in 25 games with the club.

He skated for the last time on February 9.

Lucius announced in a statement that he was recently diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.

Lucius is the 18th pick in the Winnipeg Jets’ 2021 NHL Draft. He won a bronze medal with the United States at the 2023 IIHF World Youth Championship, scoring in overtime against Sweden.
