Time and time again, Vancouver needs to play hockey at its best. Sort out the differences and do what they have to do to make the playoffs. The rest tends to take care of itself and yes, winning is a panacea.

It's a business to some, but is it more personal to these two?
Several top columnists weighed in on the Canucks weighing up prices on the trade market. Worse, is all this inner turmoil forcing Rick Tocchet to quit? He can leave in the summer. Then again, does he help matters? Now, this might be more worth exploring. People make excuses for Tocchet, but are all the criticisms unfounded? The answer is probably no.
