What are the rules for replacing balls that roll backwards on the cart path?

Golf rules are tricky! Thankfully, we have masters. Our Rules guys know this book from beginning to end. Is there any problem? He has all the answers.
My drive rolled from the fairway to the curved, paved lane path and continued to roll back the route to the Tee Box at least 100 yards back. I was told that I could put the ball on the fairway in the driveway without a fine. Is this correct? – Wolf Dorak, Ontario, Canada
Wolf, the ruler guy called in laughter how to call – who told you should be kicked to the side of the road.
There is no such fix, whether the ball is retreating by one yard or 100 yards. See Rule 16.1 for rules on how to relieve the cart path.

I knocked the drive to the edge of a red area. There was grass between the bet and the waterline, so I could possibly swing – but I had to stand next to the stakes with a cart path. Am I allowed to get out of the path or is the fact that the ball is in the free throw area negative? – Marcrum, Maryland, told the city, Indiana.
Dominant guy, can I also allow my cake to eat? You are lucky enough to have a playable shot from the free throw area and would you like to feel relieved on the road standing on the trolley? Do you want mimosa, too? Some peanuts? How about a massage?
Seriously, Dr. Will, ask… there will never be any harm. If your ball is in the penalty area, you will not be free to mitigate by immovable obstacles (such as trolley paths) or any other abnormal route conditions (such as ground, animal holes or temporary water in repairs).
As the kids say, handle it.
