In CBS sports, the Hornets have lost 131 points in their last three games. That was a brand new NBA record, not a part of what Charlotte wanted to be. Their next chance to turn things around is on the road to Dallas on Thursday.

It’s a tough three-game for Charoltte Hornets

The 2024-25 season has been another disappointing year for the Charlotte Hornets. Through 57 games, the team was 14-43. Charlotte has been 2-8 in the last 10 times and has lost four consecutive games. However, their last three losses are historic. According to CBS Sports, the Hornets have lost 131 points in their last three games, setting a new NBA record. It was previously held by the 2021-22 Trail Blazers, who lost 114 points in three straight games.

Starting from February 22, the Hornets are on the way to facing the Trail Blazers. They lost 141-88, which is a 53-point deficit. Charlotte made his way back on February 24, facing Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. The Hornets lost 130-88, with a 42-point gap. The second game against the Warriors in February 25 was the Hornets’ defender. They lost to Golden State 128-92. It was a 36-point loss, and their total of 131 points in the last three games.

Lamelo Ball and Mark Williams competed in two of Charlotte’s final three games. Miles Bridges attended everyone. The team is dealing with injuries this season. However, they still have a lot of healthy bodies in the roster and have beaten at an historic pace in the last three games. Charlotte played the ninth inning road race against the Mavericks Thursday night.
