NBA referee Jenna Schroeder was overheard telling Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse that she was ejecting Andre DeAndre during the Sixers' 111-106 home win over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. Lamond and letting him back into the game was a mistake.

Drummond was sent back to the locker room midway through the second quarter after Spurs star Victor Vembanyama collapsed, and Schroeder speculated that Sixers players were involved in the incident. However, replays showed that Wembanya either tripped or fell over his own feet.

NBA commissioner Curtis Blair told reporters after the game that the call had been overturned because the referees “determined Drummond stepped on Wembanya's foot and it was deemed incidental contact.”
A flop technical foul on Vembanyama was also waived when the referee believed the Spurs center was tripped by Drummond's feet.

Schroder also ejected over Joel Embiid accusations
The game got even crazier when Joel Embiid picked up two quick technical fouls for arguing. As Wembanyama tried to defend, Embiid drove to the basket in transition and bumped into the former NBA Rookie of the Year, knocking him to the ground.
With 2 minutes and 59 seconds left in the first half, Embiid was whistled for a charging foul. Embiid immediately stood up and argued so fiercely that Schroder received a technical foul and the 7-footer sprinted toward the Philadelphia bench.

When approaching the 76ers' bench area, an angry Embiid rushed towards the referee and was restrained by teammate Kyle Lowry, nurses and several assistants. Schroeder issued another technical foul, resulting in the third foul of Embiid's career. Deported a second time.
These incidents resulted in Philadelphia fans booing mercilessly every time Wembanyama touched the ball. The French genius scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 8 blocks.
Drummond came off the bench for nearly seven minutes and had two points, three rebounds and an assist. Of course, Embiid scored 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals in 14 minutes of play.
