NHL Injured: Hurricane, Avalanche, Wild, Senator, Utah, Capital and Cancer

Kurt Dusterberg: Carolina Hurricane Andrei Svechnikov returned to practice yesterday and could return to the lineup on Thursday. He missed the last three games due to an upper body injury.

“We will find out,” Carolina coach Rod Brind’amour said when asked if he could play Thursday. “We have a few days left. We’ll see where he is.

“Obviously, if he doesn’t practice with us, it will show that he probably won’t. But he tried a little this morning, so he’s getting better and better.”

Colleen Flynn: Colorado Avalanche Forward Gabriel Landeskog spent the entire practice on the ice yesterday. He participated in some exercises. That was the first time.

Meghan Angley: Landeskog will travel with the team and continue to skate with them.
