NHL Rumor: Minnesota Outdoors – Marco Rossi and Kirill Kaprizov

Will Marco Rossi’s future be with Minnesota Wild?

Michael Russo and athletic Joe Smith: The first major decision in the wild must be the pending RFA Marco Rossi. Did he sign before or after the qualification offer? Will they hope to trade him in the draft? If he didn’t re-sign before July 1, would his agent go looking for a quote?

Rossi found himself on the fourth line and top Power League teams at the end of the Golden Knights series in Las Vegas. He was “very disappointed” with the playoff use. In the regular season, he had 24 goals and 60 points.

During the season, he was awarded a five-year contract, which Rossi refused. I don’t want to walk in the wild for more than five years. The wild might want a two to three-year contract, but if Rossi plays at six o’clock in the bottom, it won’t help his next contract.

He said: “How great I’ve been doing all year round and (go) … from 40 to 60 this year. And, anyone who knows me is always going up, I’m always improving, especially with my work ethics. So I’m sure I’m a top six guy,” he said.

Rossi was asked if he was worried about this offseason deal, and he said he was not considering that now.

Kirill Kaprizov said, about extension

Michael Russo and athletic Joe Smith: Kirill Kaprizov is eligible for an eight-year contract extension with Minnesota on July 1. When asked over the weekend, Kaprizov smiled and said:

“We’ll see. I love everything here. Everything is fine.”

Kaprizov added that he loves the city and feels good about the future of the team. It’s all about being able to win.

He lined up to become a high-paying winger in the league. His market value may exceed $14.9 million. The upper limit for 2026-27 may be $104 in 2027-28, $113.5 million.

NHL Rumor: Avalanche in New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks and Colorado

After next season, Kaprizov will become an unrestricted free agent. The wild can be offered for eight years, and the open market is only seven years.

If the wild doesn’t sign his postponement in the offseason, then it will be talked about next year, especially the longer the delay. If he didn’t plan to re-sign, they wouldn’t have nothing, but a complete non-motion clause complicates it.
