Well, one of the smaller groups in the NHL GM meeting made a suggestion. Major League Baseball holds what they call the winter meeting every December, everyone is together for four days, the team, where there are free agents. Agents do this.
One of the suggestions is to see, why not in late June or early July, the NHL does something similar. Awards, drafts and free agents are all in one city, everyone.
It’s not discounted. I think some people want to take it and see, can they do the job? I think this is a good idea. But that’s at least what I don’t want to say is that it will happen or something like that, but it’s being discussed. ”
