Nuno calls on Forest players to “enjoy” the pressure to qualify for the Champions League last day

Nottingham Forest owner Nuno Espirito Santo has called on his players to enjoy the pressure of trying to qualify for the Champions League on the final day of the season.

The Midlands are seventh in seventh place but have a chance to surpass their Premier League rivals and beat rivals on Sunday with rival Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca’s Enzo Maresca’s Enzo Maresca is one of the teams, also fighting for one of five Champions League titles, and the victory will guarantee their position.

Worst of all, Forest will be in the Europa Conference League next semester, but can still play in any of the three matches.

While the nerves within the city will be at the highest level ever when the capital’s opponents are fighting, Nuno believes his players will respond well to stress.

“For everyone close, a normal week. Prepare the game like we usually do. Nothing changes.”

“One thing we love is to prepare for big games, so why not enjoy it? Everyone loves it here.

“In a game like this, there is motivation and you don’t have to worry about it. It already exists.

“Players are on fire and want to play games, so the information is to stick to the task.”

Roman rumor is rubbished

Nuno stays away from his forest duties and is associated with the vacant Roman Post before the summer.

Claudio Ranieri said goodbye to the club for the second time, after a great campaign in the Premier League, the Italian giants reportedly identified the former Tottenhams boss as a potential replacement.

But no surprise, Nuno focused only on Sunday’s finale and didn’t waste time scattering rumors.

He said: “Do you really think I’m going to waste my time?

“So much thinking and getting ready, my main focus is to prepare the team and provide the best solutions and details for the players – nothing else.”
