The new Odyssey Red Sewen X putter is based on the gamer of Xander Schauffele, who won two majors last year.
Odyssey
If you want to win two of the Xander Schauffele last season, you will be in luck.
Odyssey has launched seven red putts based on the design of Schauffele’s Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas prototype putt, which he has used in the past few years, including winning the PGA and open title last season.
Schauffele prefers red because it makes him feel like he’s going to hit a good putt every time. He used to go back and forth between the red and silver versions of the Las Vegas shape in Odyessy/Toulon.
He also prefers black painted faces, giving him visual contrast and making queues easier. This mimics the visual appearance when using the white hot-swap shape with Schauffele. The red paint cheats slightly on the face to reduce the effects of any debris or other wear marks.
The Odyssey Red Seven X has the exact same color scheme, as well as a milling pattern of deep diamond grooves, and Schauffele prefers to make him roll off his face. In addition, the push rod will also come with a black stepless steel shaft and Odyssey Super Stroke Pistol 2.0 grips standard, both of which are the same specifications as Schauffele.
