Calgary Flames fans aren’t the only ones who made their debut Thursday night at Zayne Parekh. The Flames were in trouble when entering the playoffs and were officially eliminated Tuesday night. It was a huge blow to the fan base, who rallied behind the resilient team, though the silver lining is four prospects to make their NHL debut with the Los Angeles Kings in the final game of the season.

Parekh can all adapt in Game 82 with Aydar Suniev, Hunter Brzustewicz and Sam Morton. This is a largely manifestation, as both Parekh and Morton were able to find the back of the net with a 5-1 victory over the Kings. Although all four mentioned have reasonable NHL potential, it is Parekh that makes everyone love meaningless games.
The 2024 ninth overall draft not only scored in the third stage deflection, but also showed off his offensive intuition all night. He has several excellent exit passes and shows the ability to get a hockey from traffic through traffic. Parekh may destroy the flame roster
While there is some hope that the flames will keep Parekh on the blue line to start the 2024-25 season, they may call the right call to send him back to junior high school. After scoring 33 goals and 96 points in 66 games of his draft qualifying season, Parekh then scored better 33 goals and 107 points in 61 games of the season. He went on to the playoffs, with two goals and nine points in five outings.

Fire fans should be excited
While some fans are frustrated that the flames in the upcoming draft don’t have a high first-round pick, prospects like Parekh are a great reminder of the bright future. The group seems to have superstar manufacturing not only between Dustin Wolf’s pipeline, but also the future’s number one blue lining in Parekh. Once they can find the legal center, they should be able to compete for the Stanley Cup in the near future.
