The Oilers continued to expand their lead in the third quarter, with Troy Stecher scoring his sixth goal less than seven minutes into the game to make it 6-1, and Marc-Andre Fleur Marc-André Fleury took over from Filip Gustavsson and scored the first goal. That wasn't the only goal; however, the Oilers added another goal off Derek Ryan to make it 7-1.
The Wild return for the first game of a back-to-back homestand on the afternoon of Saturday, December 14, when they host the Philadelphia Flyers, and then on Sunday, December 15, they take on the Vegas Golden Knights.
