Kevin de Bruyne’s breakup gift to Manchester City could be a key role in the club’s advancement to the Champions League.
The Belgian will leave Atihad after the season, after City chose not to offer a new contract, he scored his only goal 10 minutes before the break as Pep Guardiola’s side rode his luck against Wolves’ luck.

Impressive Wolf deserves more
The Wolves reached the back of a six-game winning streak, which showed they created better opportunities in the first half, and despite their chances after a break, they still pose a threat.
Since taking over, Vitor Pereira has instilled a newfound belief that the wolf should get more after hitting the woodwork twice and wasting other openings that appeared.
Their Brazilian core, Andre, Joao Gomes and Matheus Cunha, caused urban problems all night. Indeed, the only thing they lacked in their game is the killer tout.
They approached the first half opening twice, but thwarted the score when it was really important.

de Bruyne riding – again
After all looking at the sea, Manchester City quickly climbed to the other end and opened the score after 35 minutes.

Cunha offers ongoing threats
Wolves’ offense is becoming increasingly rare, but with Cunha’s ranking, City’s defense cannot relax. After 56 minutes, the demand advance almost made an equalizer from scratch, finding a yard at the edge of the area and hitting the shot upright.
The rest of the game sees city content to maintain control over property and territory without having to do a lot.
As the threat of the wolf diminished, the game was in trouble.
Manchester City will now spend a weekend checking out their competitors to see their work done.
