The team fought evenly for most of the remaining half-games before the Ducks were late and led 39-34. Oregon took the lead despite shooting 1 of 7 from the depths. They took the lead by forcing USC to fall into 10 turnovers and gained a 10-point lead from those turnovers. Shelstad led Oregon to score with nine points on the break, while Bittle had eight. Agee led USC by 15 points in the first half, scoring 10 points in the Trojans’ first 12 points, including two 3-pointers.
Oregon The lead was extended to 10 points earlier in the second half, ending the margin to 5 points at USC. The Ducks eliminated the game in the half with a 16-0 match and ended the game with a back-to-back three-pointer with Batrimi 2 and one-man with Shelstad. This extended their lead to 76-53, where the Ducks won the victory. Oregon State connected nine goals with 20 3-pointers in the second half, and they scored the Trojans with a 10-3-point attempt.
