Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi said playing in front of the goalkeeper with Gianluigi Donnarumma’s size brought confidence.
Donnarumma has criticized his critics but responded to a series of impressive performances – most notably against Liverpool at Anfield to help Luis Enrique reach the Champions League semifinals.
Tomorrow night, PSG hosted Arsenal’s second leg of the last four games, gaining a 1-0 advantage in the first match of the UAE.

Another clean sheet from Donnarumma was enough to let them see them, and Hakimi said he was confident in the big Italian.
“I think you’ve seen him as one of the best goalkeepers in the world,” Hakimi said.
“We have a lot of confidence in him. Some people doubt him, but we have always supported him and we have seen him respond in the best way.
“He gave us a lot of confidence in this kind of game.”
Hakimi is glad that there is “genius” Dembele available
On the other end of the field, PSG will be improved by the availability of forward Ousmane Dembele, who will play after overcoming a hamstring strain maintained in north London.
“He’s the kind of player that makes you want to watch at the stadium because he’s a genius on the ball, even if he doesn’t have a lot of opportunities,” Hakimi said.
“He can change the course of the game, so we’re very happy to bring him back to the team.”
PSG from attack again
PSG has achieved an exciting performance in the Champions League this season, centering around smart sports in the midfield and bubbling in the offense.
Even if they have the ability to prevent Arsenal, Hakimi did not envision a change that would change his philosophy.
