Chelsea in principle reached an agreement with Sporting CP to sign Geovany Quenda, which is expected to sign a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge and choose an additional season after a fee of about £40 million.
The still 17-year-old Portuguese star didn’t arrive at Chelsea until July 2026, and next season with Sporting CP, he broke into the first team and played regularly. The teenager scored one goal and scored four assists in 25 league appearances this season.
