Wesley Bryan was suspended by the PGA Tour for his participation in the LIV Golf Influencer event, according to the Q Information on Monday.
The PGA Tour has not commented on the suspension, but 35-year-old professional Bryan, who also runs a popular YouTube channel with his brother, confirmed the Frenchman’s suspension. Brian said he was not told about the suspension time, but planned to follow the appeal process.
“The chances in the PGA Tour have been great for the last eight to nine years,” Brian told the Frenchman. “I’m very grateful for this trip. I don’t want it to be the end of my professional golf career.”[onthePGATour”BryantoldFrench”I’mextremelygratefultotheTourforthIdon’twantthistobetheendofmyprofessionalgolfcareer”[PGA巡迴賽中的機會一直很棒,”布萊恩告訴法國人。“我非常感謝這次旅行。我不希望這是我職業高爾夫職業生涯的終結。”[onthePGATour”BryantoldFrench“I’mextremelygratefultotheTourforthatIdon’twantthistobetheendofmyprofessionalgolfcareer”
Bryan stopped for Duel: Miami in Liv Golf a week before the Masters. It aired on the channel of YouTube content creator Grant Horvat and has seen more than 2 million views. It features six LIV players in a 9-hole battle with six YouTube content creators. The game features a $250,000 wallet and won by Wesley’s brothers Sergio Garcia and George Bryan.
Wesley Bryan has a conditional status on the PGA Tour, and he has played in three PGA Tours this season and is ranked 169th in the FedEx Cup standings. In his final game, Puerto Rico opened in early March, and he missed the layoffs.
Last month, Wesley and George competed in TPC Sawgrass’ PGA Tour Creator Classic during Players Championship Week. It’s part of a newly formed creators committee for a tour, which is a brand that is collaborated by 10 popular content creators or tours to increase fan interaction; Bryan Bros Golf is among them.
The PGA Tour and Saudi Public Investment Fund still have no agreement to reunite professional games, and the trip warned its members that they would be suspended for participating in the LIV event.
Wesley Bryan started once in 134 careers, the PGA Tour began, earning more than $5 million in careers. He also won three championships in 22 Korn Ferry Tour games.
