Postecoglou calls var to check for “crazy” … and accuses reporters of “trying to force me into the corner”

Ange Postecoglou said VAR is destroying football, with cheated video assistant referee Jarred Gillett and warned journalist Patrick Davison as Tottenham ruled out the spectacular Pape Matar Sarr Stareerizer in a 1-0 Premier League defeat at Chelsea on Thursday.
Sarr caught goalkeeper Robert Sanchez with a 40-yard strike with the remaining 21 minutes, just letting Gillett not allow effort after a long check, referee Craig Craig Pawson booked the Spurs midfielder for a foul.

postecoglou: var’crazy’
“You’ve been standing for 12 minutes,” Postecoglou told Sky Sports after the 14th-place Spurs slipped into the 16th league-wrenching campaign.
“It’s killing the game. It’s not the same as the previous games. You just don’t know what you’re going to get. No one cares – everyone loves drama, controversy. I’m sure there will be a 24-hour discussion on it.
“That’s what everyone wants. They’re not interested in killing the wonders of the game. If the referee sees it, then [Gillett] It takes six minutes to see it and tell me what is clear and obvious about it. Too crazy. This is crazy. ”
“They have everything they have to be angry.”

“Is this clear and obvious?”
Moises Caideo ranked second for Chelsea before Sarr’s effort, just for a long check to get Levi Colwill offside.
Postecoglou was not impressed when Davison said he had made the right decision on Sarr’s goal, and his response was to foul the incident with James Tarkowski’s foul on Liverpool striker Alexis Mac Allister on Wednesday when Everton’s defender escaped Everton Defender when Everton’s defense escaped a red card to host PGMOL’s decision, after which PGMOL admitted that it was wrong thereafter.
“You can try to force me into the corner,” Postecoglou told Davison. “You are. Do you think last night was a red card? It’s clear and obvious? If you have to look at something, then it’s clear and obvious?
“I imagine someone like you will continue to sit on the couch for six minutes, waiting for something clear and obvious. I don’t agree, but that’s good.”

Liverpool’s “Different from Gillette” with Everton
“Last night, we were all sitting on the couch and saw a replay saying ‘Oh my God’,” Postecoglou observed Tarkowski’s terrible 11-minute tackle on Mac Allister.
“We sat there for six minutes tonight and obviously VAR official Jarred Gillett thinks it is clear and obvious. I promise you that if Jarred Gillett was Var last night, we would have achieved different results.”
Tottenham fixtures
Tottenham’s two attempts to target were after a breakout in one game, ensuring only a quarter of the bottom was much less than postecoglou in 30 league games.
Their campaign depends on their Europa League quarterfinals against Eintracht Frankfurt, who ranked third in Germany and visited London for the first leg on April 10 (20:00 BST).
The Spurs will seek their first league victory in five games as they host Southampton on Sunday (14:00 BST). They beat the rock bottom 5-0 on December 15.
