Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou said the Europa League glory will eclipse Manchester United’s FA Cup last season and accused critics of trying to “reduce” his team’s ambitions in the game.
The home game of the Spurs’ possible definition of the season will arrive Thursday, when Bodo/Glimt visited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals, and despite the frustrating domestic campaign, Postecoglou gave PosteCoglou a chance to close on the silverware.
“Currently, I’m powerful in these parallel worlds that these clubs are trying to travel through,” Postecoglou said. “I feel – it’s not surprising because of the way this club perceives – people are trying to reduce it in almost certain ways.
“I heard people say it’s the equivalent of Manchester United trying to win the FA Cup – no, sorry. Sorry. Not the same on any planet.”
“Our fans in Frankfurt are excellent. We will need them tomorrow night.”

Tottenham: Champions League ambition
The Spurs beat the Premier League for the third time in a row in Sunday’s Liverpool champion Liverpool beat 5-1, and in one season their total hits 19 league losses, they will still hold the promise of silver if they can expel the dominant Norwegian champion and beat United or Bilbaro in the final.
In the top game, only three relegated teams have lost more games than Tottenham Hotspurs, but if they win the Europa League, the current 16 teams will play the Champions League next season.
“Others are suggesting maybe we are not worthy of the Champions League,” Postecoglou said, whose work has been under scrutiny for most of the season.
“again, [these are] It is an incredible opportunity to reduce the things ahead of us.
“No matter how this season goes away, we have generations of fans want more than anything else – share a special moment with someone they like to support them. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the players and everyone involved.”
“We are 100% behind the manager – I think he is a good guy!” 🤝

Spurs vs bodo/glimt
Bodo/Glimt defeated Lazio in his last eight matches to become the first Norwegian team to enter the semi-finals of the European competition.
Glimt’s average race on the Circuit only exceeded one goal in a match, but lost 3-1 to him in the last time in Lazio, despite the fear they brought to Manchester United when they led 2-1 on November 28 at Old Trafford, who led 3-2 on November 28.
A series of injuries and suspensions could make their mission even more difficult at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where no outside side won the game this season.
Glimt won the final five home games in the game and scored at least two goals in the final four wins, so the Spurs will be particularly keen to build a first-leg lead.
“You want us to think you are a small club and we won’t comment [you],” Postecoglou told Norwegian reporters. “Bodo is valuable there because they are an excellent football team. ”
“He has made up his mind…”

Has Tottenham ever won the Europa League?
Tottenham Hotspur won the first match in a 3-2 win over Wolves in the 1972 final until it was known as the UEFA Cup in 2009.
Since then, they have won once and their legs have beaten Anderlecht after finishing 1-1 in the 1984 final.
