Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were the first Premier League clubs to announce a high-profile preseason in 2025.

Fans are familiar with seeing their team prepare for new sports around the world, including games between top clubs during their national trips, including in the United States.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs arranged a midsummer North London derby in a striking warm-up match, while United, Bournemouth, Everton and West Ham will play against each other.

When is the Premier League summer series?

The Premier League Summer Series featured teams held in the United States to accept each other, between July 26 and August 3 this year.

Everton vs Bournemouth and United vs West Ham were at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on July 26 at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey until the Hammer faced the Toffees, and the Red Devils met Cheries at Chicago Soldier Field on July 30.

Bournemouth will play West Ham and United Everton at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 3.

Why are Arsenal and Tottenham in Hong Kong?

Arsenal managing director Richard Garlick said the Gunners’ game against the Spurs at the recently opened 50,000-capacity Kai Tak Stadium on July 31 will allow them to “connect” with Hong Kong supporters in a “very important” part of the pre-season preparation.

Tottenham visited Asia last season and played two games in Seoul and Tokyo. Arsenal has returned to the mainland for the first time since 2012.

When will the 2025/26 Premier League season start?

The opening match of the 2025/26 Premier League season will begin on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

The final round will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, when all competitions will begin at the same time.

When will the summer transfer window open?

The windows this summer will be open between Sunday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 10, due to the additional period, which is due to the expansion of the club’s World Cup, with Manchester City and Chelsea participating in the match.
