Winnipeg Jets’ Rasmus Kupari for at least a week due to concussion protocol – Hockey Writer – Winnipeg Jets

According to head coach Scott Arniel, Winnipeg Jets forward Rasmus Kupari will be at least a week due to the game of the concussion protocol.

Kupari suffered a concussion in the third phase of Tuesday’s 3-2 loss to New York Islanders. He appeared to hit the board after checking in the Neutral District.

“Seven days. Wait and see how it develops. He rides a bike today. Says he feels much better, but obviously has to go through it,” Anil said in Philadelphia Thursday morning.

Kupari, 24, played 58 games in the center’s next six games this season, scoring five goals and adding three assists to eight points, while also seeing free throw time.

David Gustafsson will be included in the roster in the fourth-tier center where Kupari is absent. The Jets will try to play a three-game winning streak against Flyers tonight in the second of their four-way Eastern road trip.
