The Colorado Avalanche scored three goals in the last seven minutes on Saturday night at the American Airlines Arena, leading 1-0 in the seventh series.

Artturi Lehkonen, Nathan Mackinnon, Devon Toews and Charlie Coyle scored for the avalanche. Mackenzie Blackwood made 23 saves in the Stanley Cup’s outstanding playoff debut.
Roope Hintz scored his only goal for Dallas. Jake Oettinger made 19 savings.
Game review
Puck-Drop buzzed in the air, and it translated on the ice as both teams played in the first game. Both goalkeepers had to make a lot of saves to maintain a 0-0 draw, and special teams were a factor in the early days.
The stars killed the 5-on-3 power play in less than 5 minutes, with Mason Parade and Wyatt Johnston taking free throws in 30 seconds for each other, both drawn by Cale Makar. The avalanche killed one of himself due to a call held by Josh Manson.
Lehkonen hit his own rebound, broke the scoreless tie in 9:30 in the second second and kicked him back as Mavrik Bourque dragged him to the ice. After review, the target stood up.
Mackinnon doubled the lead in a 16:38 power play after drawing his high-stance feet. McKinnon shot his wrist from the left circle, deflecting from Ilya Lyubushkin and swaying the side of the oettinger glove.
In the third stage of poorly executed electric game, coach Pete Deboer called the pause and went on at the right time. Within seconds of dying, Hinz hit the board with a star shot from Thomas Harley.
After a series of moves and some big savings in the Colorado area, the Avalanche led 3-1 in the tip of Manson on the other end.
Mackinnon added an empty grid at 16:52, while Coyle poured salt into the wound at 17:03 to score the final score with a score of 5-1.
The Avalanche scored 4-1 in the power game, while the Stars scored 1-1. Both teams scored 24 goals.
