
Nathan Mackinnon won his 1,000th career with his assistance from Artturi Lehkonen’s goal against the Chicago Blackhawks. He is the 100th player in NHL history to have more than 1,000 professional points. Now he has finished second in the avalanche player history with Peter Stastny and second in the avalanche player, 5 points in the 99th place in the all-time score. He ranked 99th with Jason Spezza in his March 6, 2024 match against the San Jose Sharks against the San Jose Sharks. He is the first player to the 100th NHL Eclipse 100th this season, his third straight season in scoring more than 100 points. Apart from Peter Stastny’s three consecutive 100-point seasons, he is the only other player in avalanche history.
McKinnon’s Hart Trophy Season Still Continues
Mackinnon’s time in the Avalanche is marked by his outstanding ability to set records in the history of the franchise. He has established several single-season franchise records including points (140), shots (405), and goal creation (51.1). He passed Michel Goulet’s total points record with 946 against the Nashville Predators on December 14, 2024.
On November 27, he passed Goulet in his fourth game in franchise history, in his 814th game against the Vegas Golden Knights. He scored 100 points with 27 goals and 73 assists, leading the NHL assists, scored, major assists and even strength scores. He is working to win his second Hart Memorial Trophy and Ross Trophy’s first Hart Memorial Trophy.
