You don’t have to search for a long time, nor have you had to find videos of the tour that include playback, tests and statement feedback on the latest and greatest gear. But what you don’t see often is the tour all The equipment that leading manufacturers must offer: not only better players and touring clubs, but also game improvements, super game improvements and somewhere in between.
In our new series After testingWe’ll do it with a pair of pro-Investigator: Rocco Mediate, who won six titles on the PGA Tour and now plays on the PGA Tour, while Charles Howell III won three championships on the tour and now plays for Liv Golf. Mediate and Howell are both device “free agents”, meaning they are free to talk about any club brand; their opinions are their own. (To keep testing consistent, all clubs will be built by our tester specifications.)
In its debut episode, we asked Rocco to participate in the Cobra Golf DS-Adapt Metal-Wood series, including DS-Adapt X, LS and K Drivers as well as X and LS Fairway Woods.

Cobra DS-Adapt x Custom Driver
New FutureFit33 adjustable Hosel FutureFit33 system features 33 unique Loft & Lie settings that unlock more customization options than ever before. The first time you can adjust the loft and lie +/- 2 degrees, independent of each other, allowing for a more fine-tuned fit customization. Regardless of the setting, the innovative SmartPad design keeps the face angle square. The more extreme Aero Desig’s improved aero shape has a higher crown peak, and the simplified shape has a smoother curvature to further reduce drag and maximize speed. The tour inspired the crafting of sophisticated Clubhead shapes with overhead addresses that promote workability and control, and increase forgiveness. The new internal adaptive weighting system redesigns the PWR-Bridge weight (in 9.0 drivers) shape with a slight curvature to make the CG lower and more forward to reduce rotation, thus increasing the creation of speed. Larger Hot Face Insert A larger forged face insert with hot face technology can provide improved face flexion for improved distance and ball speed. The mixture of forgiveness and rotation control is accompanied by a second forward weight, allowing for additional rotation control.

For all Rocco’s feedback, check out the video below. But here are some quick gains:
– DS Aftapt X Head is not only fast and forgiving, but also falls into the fun low-speed spin category, which seems to be a trend among tour and better players. I think Comp Models from other brands will be Titleist GT2, Taylormade QI35 Core, Callaway TD Max and Ping 440 LST.
– fairways provide the same results; Adapt X Head is higher at ball speed, with the rotating window staying in one place, consistent with the trusted soft drawing Rocco hit rate with every club in his bag. There is a lesson: If you have natural lens shapes, build your luggage to hit with each club. By flying a ball through the bag, Rocco eliminates it ton variable.
Hope you like it. There are more tests!

A tighter dispersion A lighter carbon crown improves weight distribution, lowering CG and further away, creating a more playable Clubhead.

The result is self-evident. He is over 60 years old and is still winning in the Championship Tour… and played 240 on the tee. This is the game to know yours.
