
Springfield, Massachusetts. …The American Hockey League announced tonight Cayden Primeau and Connor Hughes The Raval Rockets and Brandon Halverson and Matt Tomkins Syracuse’s crunch is Harry “Happ” Sherlock Holmes Memorial Award In the 2024-25 season. Since 1972, the award has been awarded to the team’s goalkeepers, which allows the least score per game in the regular season.
To receive the award, the goalkeeper must appear in at least one-third of his team’s game.
Both the Rockets and the Crust have allowed the league to be 178 goals in 2024-25, averaging 2.47 per game. This is the first Holmes Award for a branch of the Montreal Canadian since 2009-10 years. This is Syracuse’s second Holmes Award in the past seven seasons.
Primeau joined the Rockets after Christmas and was the main goalkeeper in the second half of AHL 2024-25. He released the best single-season record in AHL history with a 21-2-2 (.880) record in 26 games, including a win in each of his top 10 decisions and an 11-0-2 finish to finish the regular season. Primeau averaged 1.96 in the league and ranked second with a savings percentage of 0.927. Hughes started his first season in North America, spending seven years in Switzerland, earning a 2.58 GAA and a 0.905 save percentage in 29 appearances.
Primeau and Hughes are one of five goalkeepers to compete in the Rockets this season jakubdobeš,,,,, Luke Cavallin and Jacob Fowler.
Halverson continued his career with a 22-11-8 record in 43 games, scoring 2.22 goals with an average of 0.915, savings and five closings. The ninth-year professional signed a two-year contract with Tampa Bay on February 3 and began its first career in the NHL career on March 22. Tomkins played 26 games for Crunch, recording 12-10-4, 2.55 GAA, 2.907, a .907 percentage savings and 3 closings.
Hammerson and Tomkins are one of four goalkeepers to compete this season Ryan Fanti and Ethan Langenegger.
