Jose Mourinho’s afternoon enjoyed a much less stressful afternoon as his Fenerbahce team won a 4-1 victory in Gaziantep in the Turkish Cup.
Mourinho has been at the center of a storm since Monday’s fierce Istanbul derby.
The Portuguese claimed that the grand coaching staff members “jumped like monkeys” and were charged with racism after trying to get Fener Defender Yusuf Akcicek booked.
This made the party threaten a criminal lawsuit against Mourinho after claiming it was using “inhuman remarks.”
Fener fought back with his strong words, accusing the party of “tragic slander.”

Even former Gala forward Didier Drogba has a say, urging his former club to give up the case and describe the 62-year-old as his “dad.”
With everything backstage, Mourinho could have been relieved to return to the game today and his players certainly would do their best to calm the noise around their coaches.

Despite leaving a few big names in experienced stars Dusan Tadic and Edin Dzeko, Fener never had trouble in Gazientep.
Signing Talisca in January maintained an impressive life in Türkiye, with two first-half goals from Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesri.
Anel Husic pulled one to the master, but substitute Filip Kostic won a good afternoon for Mourinho and his soldiers, and there was still 7 minutes away.
Galatasaray hosted Konyaspor later today.
