New Rangers manager Russell Martin is willing to sell “outstanding” players in the summer transfer window, according to a new transfer update.

Martin looks at the Wanderer boss’s first signature

The Martin era of Ibrox is officially in progress, with the former Southampton owner hoping to bring back the club, which has forced rival Celtic to watch rival Celtic dominate the Scottish Premier League for the past decade or so.

The 39-year-old started with obvious excitement, admitting shortly after he served as the next manager of the ranger: “It was an incredible feeling. I really appreciate the board, Patrick (Stuart), Kevin (Selwell) because of their belief in me. It was a difficult and rigorous process that took some time, but that’s what you expect when you want to be the manager of this club of status, size and expectation.

Now, Martin is backed up in the transfer market, the British signed what he thinks is the ideal player for him, and Southampton midfielder Flynn Downes may be his first addition. He knows the players well from the spells responsible for the Saints, and he can complete 90.8% of the passes in the Premier League in 2024/25.

That said, some current GERS players can set out before the start of next season, and one’s key update has dropped.

It would be ruthless if the Northern Irish was a talented young player who had sent McCousland in the summer window in the past.

“McCaulan is absolutely brilliant. Bubble, pace, first touch point in technology. Huge. Given the magnitude of this game, he’s playing in this cauldron, he looks full of confidence. I think the fans really bring him. He really brings lifts to the stadium.”

However, McCousland was limited to only four games last season, showing that he was not a key figure, so the club does have a big decision to make a huge decision this summer.

New Lundstram: Martin wants his first Ranger to sign £18m star

When Russell Martin began to overhaul the Rangers overhaul, could he sign up for the “class” midfielder, reminiscent of John Lundstram’s move to Ibrox?

He has only two years left for the deal at the moment, so time runs out before his price starts to drop, if Martin feels himself a consumable number, now move him to the most meaningful situation.
