Ranking
Ryker Lee is a young forward who will affect all three areas and work hard to check. Not only did he abandon the hockey – his dump and chase, ensuring he restored possession and created additional scoring opportunities from scratch. With his high hockey IQ, he set a number of goals with the sleek Dekes, leading the Madison Capitols this season. The American Hockey League (USHL) Rookie of the Year scored 68 points (31 goals, 37 assists) in 58 regular season games, recording more assists than goals. He scored another six points in six Clark Cup playoff games.
His playing ability and offensive consistency made him a major asset, and he scored fourth points in all rookies throughout the USHL regular season.

Earlier, Lee developed his game at Shattuck-St. Mary’s is a powerful AAA program known for shaping top players. He quickly climbed the team, showing that he could kick off and put forward big numbers. When he hit the 16U AAA, he took off with 55 goals, 68 assists, 123 points in 57 games) and regarded himself as one of the best offensive threats in the 2006 age group. His ability to adapt to each level is a good signal, and it continues as he goes up to 18U ready and finally ushl.
In 2022, Lee was selected by the Capitals in the second round of the USHL Futures Draft, and he will compete in the Clark Cup playoffs later in the 2023-24 season.
@ryanmascouting dives in his game, creating a prospect impact card for Lee, which ranks his game as a percentage relative to the 2025 draft class. It is worth noting that his NHL translability rate is 97%, and 92% of people have gained the ability to control the puck and do nothing under normal circumstances.
He is also a weapon for power play (95%), and as a pass and scoring threat, the NHL team certainly loves to see his best field.
Defensively (43% impact), Lee can use some work, but he is still young, so I hope he improves over time. He showed potential, especially when checking and out of the defensive area, so I wasn’t too worried about that part of his game.
Naturally, his skating and IQ should improve over time, especially as he will join Michigan State’s big program next season, where he should develop more comprehensive games in the tough Big Ten conferences.

Ryker Lee – NHL Draft Prediction
Some can say Lee can be delayed in the first round, but most media are in the middle and late stages of the second round. He will only get better over time, and he developed at Michigan State University, a high-powered, legendary program with a history of producing the highest NHL talent.
If I were to guess where he was, I would say a team took a chance at the end of the first round.
quotation marks
“Ryker Lee is fun. The hockey on his stick is able to make high-end games, but not finished execution, bringing his game to another level.” – Smaht Scouting
“There are few players in the draft that match Lee’s highlight reel. He keeps exposing defenders with countless solutions: spin passes, camouflage, tape to tape disc passes, and there seems to be no limit to what Lee can imagine.” – Dobber’s Prospect

NHL Potential
Lee has the potential to be the top six in the NHL level in his offensive generation. He was a little underrated in the draft, as the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) guys got the most attention, but the USHL is a tougher league, especially when it comes to defense, with the teams more structured and more difficult to break. He put forward the numbers he made in such a close checking league, which shows that he was able to create and play a role in important moments.
Heading to Michigan State now, Lee will have the opportunity to develop his own defensive game while continuing to build offensive capabilities on a team that will likely have 13 draft picks in the 2025-26 squad.
