Si Woo Kim had a lot of reasons to smile on Friday – Ace and Under 64 seven shots.

Si Woo Kim has been here before and has made 3 shots history in a big golf tournament. Like last year, King scored a 17-hole third shot with 238 yards on the Royal Troon in the third round. This sets the record as the longest hole in major history.
And then at the 2025 PGA Championship? King broke it again.
King played 252-yard 3 6 holes at Quail Hollow Club, grabbed a 5-wood, faded into the center of the green, watched his ball land, bounced and rolled out, and finally fell into the cup for ace and got the longest hole in the Grand Slam.
He threw the club into the air, ran out of his T-shirt and screamed.
According to the PGA Tour, Kim has the most six ACEs in the PGA Tour since 2016. He also became the first player to be in a back-to-back Grand Slam season since Scott Hoch, who did it at the 2001 PGA and the 2002 U.S. Open.
But what is the better news for King? The 29-year-old professional shot 7 with 64 and finished second after 36 holes. He was six years old and the last two of leader Jhonattan Vegas. Scottie Scheffler lurked three points while many other stars were sent home early.
“That was just Friday,” King said. “I just played two rounds, but there’s still a lot of work to do. Then, especially on the weekends, it’s hotter and more nervous. I’m just trying to play golf, just trying to have fun.”
