
The Edmonton Oilers defeated the first game Friday night in a 3-0 victory over the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Brett Kulak and Connor Brown scored for the Oilers. Stuart Skinner made 24 saves and recorded his third lockdown in the last four games.
Jake Oettinger saved 23 times for the stars.
Game review
Nugent-Hopkins opened the score at 5:51 in the first phase and Evan Bouchard’s back-tip opened the shot from the shot.
15:36 in the second second after Kulak’s shot was blocked by Mikko Rantanen, Kulak collected the puck and shot the Oilers’ lead with a snapshot of the slot. After 71 seconds, Brown scored three points in his fifth goal in the playoffs, giving the Oilers a 3-0 lead.
The Oilers played 5-1 in the power game, while the Stars took the advantage 2-2. Both teams have 25 shots.
