Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez said some players should leave the club this summer after colliding with the club’s World Cup in the last 16th stage.

German Cano and Hercules scored enough to give Brazilian Fruminins a 2-0 victory in Charlotte.

Martinez, who was humiliated by the 5-0 UEFA Champions League final last month, was unhappy with the attitude of some of his teammates in the United States.

The forward was late to the outpost and saw an effort as he tried to bring Inter Level to Hercules before the second time.

He said: “I gave everything on the court in every training session and I’m really sorry. I don’t want to lose, I feel sorry for the team.

“But I want to say one thing: You have to think Stay in Inter Milan. We are fighting for important goals and anyone who wants to stay here needs to show it.

“Who doesn’t, should leave. We’re here to give everything we can for the international trade groups, and I’ve seen a lot of things, as captains, I don’t like it.

“I want to fight for our goals because we are part of a great club and I want to continue competing.”

New boss Cristian Chivu replaces Simone Inzaghi after being beaten in Munich.

He said: “We didn’t give up. Until the end, we tried. We tried to make some changes to the formation.

“It’s not a day for us. That’s it. We try to do our best as usual. Today is not a day for us.

“We didn’t expect them to play five games in the back. They had a very low defense. We had a hard time finding a solution, especially in the first half.”
