Srickson’s latest golf may be their longest ever

For those who want more distance, Srikson’s latest golf might be the ticket.

The company is launching Q-Star Ultispeed, the first new golf ball in North America since 2017, specifically targeting golfers playing regular Flex axis.

“The new Q-Star Ultispeed has taken years of research and innovation,” Brian Schielke, vice president of business planning at Srixon, said in a press release. “We tested hundreds of materials to find the right balance of feel and performance to maximize the role of golf. The result is a truly dynamic choice that gives players the extra yardage they look for Tee-to-to-tee green with excellent feel and control.”

Q-Star Ultispeed is a three-piece golf ball originally released to the Japanese market, which has undergone fundamental changes to its predecessors as the company describes.

The ball was originally a super company, unqualified prototype, compressed to 115, which basically makes it like playing with rocks. But over time, Srixon changed the design of the ball to retain a firm speed, but could soften the feeling to better attract slower golfers.

Q-Star Ultispeed also has a new upgrade to Fastlayer Core, which is designed to minimize changes in firmness that occur in other distances golf balls.

Srixon has a soft fixing approach to its kernel, which they say helps to speed up the club in all fluctuations. The ball also has a specially designed 338 two-wire pattern that enhances aerodynamics and reduces drag for more distances.
