Taylor Hall’s hat trick helps Hurricanes beat Ducks 5-2 – Hockey Writer – Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricane visited the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center Sunday night. The Ducks hope to continue to beat the Nashville Predators on the road 4-1, while the Hurricanes hope to bounce back from a 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings. Former Ducks goalkeeper Frederik Andersen holds the net for the Hurricane, while Lukas Dostal starts John Gibson again. Located in the Metropolitan Division, the Hurricane is a tough team to beat, especially for the struggling Ducks roster. However, forward Andrei Svechnikov remained unchanged for the sixth straight game, which was somewhat weak in the Hurricanes’ offense. The Ducks have a record of 10-4-1 in the last 15 home games, giving them more motivation to defend their home ice.

Game review

Although the Ducks couldn’t use their first power game due to the Hurricane killing a huge penalty kill, forward Trevor Zegras did get a good shot that made Andersen’s chest bounce.
