Portuguese golf's rising star Terras da Comporta has entered into a new partnership with the Metropolitan PGA, a move expected to elevate its international standing to new global heights.
Leveraging a growing relationship with California golf tourism player Garmany Golf, the luxury golf and real estate destination has signed an agreement with the Metropolitan PGA to arrange managed trips for professionals and amateurs to Terras da Comporta, home of The Dunas Course , named the best golf course in the world and Europe at the 2024 World Golf Awards.
What is MET PGA?
The Metropolitan PGA is composed of more than 29,000 professionals and is a major member of the PGA of America. Terras da Comporta Director of Golf Rodrigo Ulrich is excited to partner with one of the most influential professional golf organizations in North America.

Where is Trastrada Comporta?
Dunas Course at Terras da Comporta, an hour's drive south of Lisbon, is architect David McLay-Kidd's first golf course on the European continent and has won praise from the global golf community since its opening in June 2023.
Owned by Vanguard Properties, Portugal's largest real estate developer, the par 71 course layout is the first of two 18-hole courses under construction at Terras da Comporta, the second designed by European Ryder Cup legend Characters Sergio Garcia will open this summer.
When completed, the Torre course was 6,575 meters long from the back tees and was Garcia's first course in Portugal. The course combines risk and reward holes, narrow fairways and small greens, and the Spaniard learned from his experience in the world's most beautiful golf course.
