The Jets’ Prospects Alfons Freij logo entry-level contract – Hockey Writer – Winnipeg Jets

The team announced Saturday that the Winnipeg Jets prospect Alfons Freij has signed a three-year entry-level contract with an average annual price of $975,000.
The 19-year-old Swedish defensive ranked 37th in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, and in his first professional season this season, the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) scored 2 goals and 6 assists in 29 games and 8 points in 29 games.
The 6-foot-1 shooter also played five games for Bjorkloven’s J20 team, recording 2 goals and 3 assists in five points. He was loaned to them for the playoffs, where he made two assists in two games.
According to Dobberprospects, Freij will play for TimråIK of SHL in 2025-26.
