Thierry Henry questioned Arsenal’s lack of silverware under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have made steady progress since Arteta returned to serve as head coach in December 2019, but the FA Cup victory that season has won, remains the only trophy that Espanyol has won.
Arsenal finished second in the Premier League for the third straight season and reached the Champions League semi-finals, both of which achieved remarkable achievements, but Henry said the title was indeed important.
Asked questions due to lack of trophy – Henry
He told Football Podcast: “I’m not saying I’m disappointed with Arsenal, but it’s normal for people to ask questions about what the team is doing now,
“I know at the beginning [for Mikel Arteta] You arrive, this is not your team, you need at least three or four transfer windows to change everything you want.
“It takes time, you have to give the manager time to achieve what he wants to do.
“Now, for the past three years, Arsenal have been in a situation where they have to bring at least one cup or the final.
“In the past five years, Manchester United has played five finals in five years, which is what everyone laughs at, and in the last three years of the building, Arsenal has not reached the final.
“So, I do understand when people ask this question, ‘Sure, should we fight for the trophy?’”

Henry said Arsenal’s progress was affected by the lack of a forward from the outside.
They lost Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus after Christmas and were injured, which led to a lack of firepower in critical times.
“When you look at the injured and the players coming, [Arteta] Bring the players – He got it [Raheem] When everyone wants the ninth, Sterling, he has time to get the ninth. ” added former Gunner Henry.
“When we beat Real Madrid, we obviously don’t need a ninth one. I don’t understand how people speak – when we don’t score, we need a ninth one, and then suddenly, we keep winning and no one mentioned that. [Arsenal] Need a ninth, an appropriate number. ”
Arsenal already has links with the likes of Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokores and is expected to recruit centers this summer.
