The rules changed the championship 3 times in the middle of the tournament

Padraig Harrington and what he did in other tournament weeks are seeing social media as regret.

Here is his circular report:

“Today 73, 6 in No. 36. Played very poorly under fanatical conditions. I managed to get the most out of the round until a few of the last 3 holes later bogeys.”

Here is his second round account:

“Hitted 72 and 5 points, back to 10. It’s a little struggling, and I’m in a quick schedule.”

Then there is the third round.

As you can see, Harrington is one of the most social media friendly pros, and this week, Harrington was once again in the Kaulig Companies Championship, a major at the PGA Tour Championships Circuit. Even when he looks at his drama, his narrative is poor. Most of his other posts involve guidance, so it seems that at least one hope to share is to show openness and the value ahead.

Just like he did in Saturday’s post.

The preferred rule of lies (or weightlifting, cleaning and location) is in place for Kaulig, who plays football at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. But not Saturday.

But sometimes you forget what Harrington did on the 17th hole of Firestone.

“There are 72 more times today,” the three-time main champions began. “7 ended, tied for 53. I only hit 71 times because I was also fined for marking and picking up the ball.

“After that, I made a better blow on the range, so hopefully the days ahead are better.”

Honesty is appreciated.

Of course, similar mistakes have been made before. If you’re curious, you can read a story about Lydia Ko accidentally picking up the pill here; Adam Schenk accidentally picking up the pill here. Anthony Quayle accidentally picked up the pill here.
